Meal Train Ministry
As another facet of the Friend's Care Ministry we are excited to introduce - Meal Train. Gloria Graffis is the ministry facilitator. What is a Meal Train? There are times in our lives when friends and family ask, "What can I do to help this person as they go through these challenges?" The answer can be... how about providing a meal. When many friends share a meal, this becomes a Meal Train. MealTrain.com is a free meal calendar tool that makes planning meals among a wide group easy and less stressful. Since this is an online service, we will email you to express the need. A meal calendar along with some simple helpful details - size of family, likes, dislikes, allergies and delivery instructions will be provided through the Meal Train link. The beauty of this system is that you can choose to sign up to help by picking the date that best works for you. This ministry is in its infancy stage, but it will develop into a fantastic way for us to reach out. Meal Train is being used at many churches across the country. Check it out and when an email arrives, hop on the train.read more
Friends Helping Friends
Consider our new Friends Helping Friends Ministry. Our purpose is to share items or services the we "HAVE" with those in the congregation who "NEED". The "HAVES" and "NEEDS" are posted on the Friends Helping Friends bulletin board in the hallway outside the Youth Room. So, if you qualify as a "HAVER" or a "NEEDER", please contact Dale Drottar at email@example.com for additional information.
Silver Friends 2015
