As the ongoing health crisis limits our ability to gather in person,
we are looking for creative ways to continue to connect as we love people to life in Jesus Christ.
We are providing daily devotionals as a resource for individuals and families to maintain their connection with God. They will be posted each week on our Devotional page and daily on Facebook.
  • Our weekly men’s breakfasts are meeting virtually over Zoom each Saturday at 8 am.
  • Wednesday Growth Groups will connect via Zoom at 7 pm to discuss Sunday’s sermon and apply it to our lives.
  • Home Growth Groups are encouraged to find ways to gather virtually during this time.
  • Other opportunities may become available over time.
For details about connecting to these conversations, contact Pastor David.
A Way in the Wilderness
This 4-week study will be facilitated by Kim Klima based on a series of video messages by Robert Morris. A Facebook group is the home base for this study.

Tuesdays at 7:15 p.m., starting March 31, Kim will host a watch party of the video for that week on Facebook Live. You may also link to the videos from the Facebook group page and watch them at another convenient time.

You may choose one of two times for a live discussion about the week’s video: Tuesday at 8 p.m. or Wednesday at noon. These discussions will be hosted on the Zoom video-conferencing platform, with connection information at the Facebook group.

For more information about joining and connecting to this online study, visit the Facebook group or contact Kim Klima.

Three call-in/video prayer groups are open for your easy access.
  • Sundays 6-7 pm: Prayer focus is mostly on the spiritual concerns of the world and America. Urgent personal prayer needs may be addressed at approximately 6:45-7:00.
  • Tuesdays 6:30-7:45 pm: A strong prayer altar focuses on inviting God’s presence into the U.S.A., Cleveland area, neighborhoods, families, and institutions. Any additional personal prayer needs are welcome afterward at 7:45-8:00.
  • Thursdays 9:00-10:00 am: This time is specifically for NOEFC prayer requests. Everyone from NOEFC is welcome to join as we pray for the needs of our church.

Discipleship is the process of learning and growing in our relationship with Jesus so that we become more like Him, for the sake of others and God’s kingdom. We don’t do this alone—the change happens through the work of the Holy Spirit while we are in a community of other followers of Jesus.
At Friends Church, we provide a number of adult discipleship opportunities throughout each week, including Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. In addition, home growth groups meet at various times and places throughout the week, providing fellowship, study and growth in Jesus.

Click on one of the ministries below and discover the discipleship opportunities going on now. It is never too late to join.
